accommodate a wheel chair, along with replacing the downstairs flooring
and painting/fixing the walls and ceiling. Not a small job, and I threw
in several change requests which was seamlessly accommodated. Dave and
team are detailed oriented and forward thinking, which we appreciated as
this was our first construction project and we needed a lot of guidance.
Our first floor is 100% improved with the new addition and the new
flooring. Bathroom looks amazing as well, tiles being bought from Pro
Source with a good tile installation team. All in all, we're very happy

"DJ's Construction renovated and built an addition to our family's Kailua home in 2010 and the owner, Dave Crabbe Parker, provided guidance to my aunt in the renovation to her house on the north shore of Oahu. DJ's Construction and particularly Dave Parker, were professional, accommodating, and thorough in every way.
The renovations that he performed were on budget, on schedule, and after seven years, still looks great. For the guidance he provided to my mom's sister, he provided insights on what to look for and what to ask in seeking out bids from professional contractors and not proposals from "fly-by-night" contractors.
His guidance was very valuable because that north shore home had fallen into disrepair and was in dire need of renovation. My family is very thankful to Mr. Parker for his professionalism and guidance throughout our home renovation needs."

"We just recently used DJ's Construction to rip out our old rotten wood deck and replace it with Trex, a composite decking material. Dave scheduled our job quickly and got started right on time. He kept us well informed on the progress of things. The only delay was due to rain so the painters could not do their job for a few days.
It was a difficult job because he was not dealing with a level surface. The Trex material was quite expensive and he advised us that we could do the railing in wood that he would seal and paint well to save us several thousand dollars.
We could not be more pleased with the results and we were picky about certain small things. He accommodated our requests as best he could. I would recommend Dave to anyone that needs a good general contractor."

"DJ's Construction has recently completed our new house which consisted of demolishing the existing structure and building a new single level home from the ground up. The project went smoothly throughout the duration of construction and we couldn't be happier with the final outcome.
The crew was friendly and professional and handled any issues that came up in the field in a timely manner and with great explanations of what needed to be done.
The house had a lot of custom and special order items designed into it so extra care and attention needed to be done to ensure the design intent was followed, and the DJ's Construction team did an excellent job in making sure everything was ordered and installed properly.
Their high level of craftsmanship and expectations even led them to re-doing some work without being asked to which we really appreciated. The DJ's Construction crew was very honest and respectful and we would definitely recommend them to friends and family."
